Depending on location, you may or may not be able to adjust your plate on your own through the app.
Some locations allow plate changes (usually up to a max of 2 or 3 vehicles) while others do not.
Those that do allow plate changes follow the directions below:
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top left corner
- Choose the 'Parking Sessions' tab
- Choose the current permit/session you want to adjust
- Tap Change Vehicle and adjust the vehicle as needed
If the ability is not available you can always reach out to HONK support (support@honkmobile.com) for further assistance.
In doing so, we ask that you:
- Add the new license plate to your account before you make your request
- Ensure you provide all required information. The best way to do that is to use this format:
Example: Please adjust the license plate on Invoice# XXXXXX from ABCDEFG to GFEDCBA - Please note, it may take a few hours to get to your request, but it will be answered within 24 hours
PLEASE NOTE: If it's an emergency, in the evening or on a holiday, we suggest you purchase a daily parking session through HONK for the new vehicle until we respond. We will then refund the additional payment once the license plate has been adjusted on your monthly subscription during the next regular business day.
