At HONK, we work hard to provide a seamless payment experience, but it’s important to understand how the physical space is managed.
HONK provides the technology you use to pay for your spot, while our Partner Operators own and manage the physical parking lots.
The lot operators determine the inventory (how many spots are available to sell). They provide these numbers to us, and we make them available to you in real-time.
Because the operators are the ones on the ground, they are responsible for enforcement and ensuring that the physical stalls are open and ready for use.
While we aim for 100% accuracy, HONK cannot physically guarantee a space. If a lot is unexpectedly full due to unauthorized vehicles or onsite events, the local operator is the best team to coordinate with for immediate enforcement or redirection.
