The short answer: As long as the lot allows! While HONK makes it easy to pay for your time, the actual "clock" is set by the lot operators. Here is how to make sure you’re staying within the lines.
Every parking location has its own set of "Hours of Operation." Before you lock up and head out, keep an eye on:
Closing Times: Some lots close or gate off at a specific time.
Rate Constraints: Certain rates (like "Early Bird") might require you to leave by a specific hour.
Lot Signs: Always obey the physical signage posted at the entrance or near the payment machines.
Extending Your Stay
Running late? In most cases, you can extend your session right from your phone! However, you can only extend using the rates and time increments provided by the operator.
Can't Extend? If you’re trying to add more time but the app won’t let you, it’s usually for one of these reasons:
Maximum Limit Reached: Some lots and municipal spots have a "Max Stay" (e.g., 3 hours only) to keep spots turning over.

Rate Expiration: The current rate you are using might not be available for the next time block (for example, switching from a "Day Rate" to an "Evening Rate").
