Extending a Parking Session (original payment made through HONK app)
There are a few ways to extend your session. The first is to do it through the sessions tab.
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰)
- Choose the 'SESSIONS' tab
- Tap on the current session that hasn't expired yet
- Tap the Extend Session link on the right side of the screen under the countdown timer (see screenshot)
- Purchase the amount of time desired and the screen will change to a countdown timer - the timer will not begin until your initial session expires
Another way is to wait until you receive a notification on your phone advising that your parking will expire shortly. You can tap on the notification and it will bring you to the session. You tap the extension option and follow step 5 to complete a purchase.
The last way is to just open your app, enter the zone ID, and then scroll down to the bottom of the rate page and choose the 'Starting Now' and choose the start time that your initial session ends at so that you are always covered.
