The short answer is no. Once a parking session has been processed, our system is unable to modify the details—such as the license plate or the zone—of that specific transaction.
If you realize you’ve entered the wrong license plate for an on-demand session, don’t worry! Here is how to stay compliant and avoid a ticket:
Start a New Session: Immediately start a new parking session using the correct license plate.
Request a Refund: Once your new session is active, contact HONK Support to request a refund for your initial (incorrect) payment.
Proof of Payment: Keep both digital receipts handy just in case!
What if I Already Received a Ticket?
If a citation was issued before you could correct the error, you will need to appeal it directly with the parking issuer (the company or city listed on the physical ticket) with your original payment explaining the error in plate entry.
