Generally speaking, no. Most HONK locations do not offer a grace period. To stay protected, you should:
Pay Upon Arrival: Start your session as soon as you park your car.
Stay Covered: Ensure your payment covers your entire stay. If you're running late, you can easily extend your session directly from the HONK app!

Different lots use different tools to keep things organized:
Camera Enforcement (LPR): Some locations use "License Plate Recognition" to track exactly when you enter and exit. If your payment doesn't cover that full window, the operator may mail a ticket directly to your home.
Physical Monitoring: In other lots, attendants may check for active sessions digitally. Vehicles without a valid session may be subject to a physical ticket, towing, or booting.
