Extending a Parking Session (original payment made through HONK app)
There are a few ways to extend your session. The first is to do it through the sessions tab.
- Tap the Menu (☰) in the top left corner
- Choose the 'Parking Sessions' tab
- Tap on the current session that hasn't expired yet
- Tap the 'Extend Session' link on the right side of the screen under the countdown timer (see screenshot)
- Purchase the amount of time desired and the screen will change to a countdown timer - the timer will not begin until your initial session expires
Another way is to keep an eye out for a notification on your phone. We’ll send you a heads-up when your parking is about to expire; simply tap that notification to jump straight to your active session. From there, select 'Extend' and follow the prompts to add your extra time.
The final way to stay covered is to open the app and search for your Zone ID directly. Tap 'Select Time' and adjust the Start Time so it aligns perfectly with when your current session ends. This ensures you have seamless, back-to-back coverage without any gaps!
