You can pre-pay for your parking at select locations to ensure you're covered before you even arrive. This is especially helpful if you need to bridge the gap between different rate types (like an hourly rate and an evening flat rate).
How to Pre-Pay for Your Session
- Select Your Zone: Open the zone purchase/rate page for your location in the HONK app.
- Choose 'Select Time': Adjust the start date and time as desired. You may have to adjust AM/PM first.
Choose Your Rate: The app will display the available rates for that specific timeframe.
Customizing Your Duration
If the rate you need isn't listed, you can manually override the timing:
- Select 'Set a Duration'.
- Manually enter both your Start Time and End Time.
- The system will calculate the total cost based on the combined rates (e.g., 1 hour of standard parking + the evening flat rate).
Please note that scheduled sessions are still subject to the lot's specific rules:
- Maximum Stay: You cannot set a duration longer than the zone's maximum allowed time (e.g., a 2-hour limit).
- Lot Hours: If a lot prohibits overnight parking, the system will not allow you to select an end time that falls within those restricted hours. you won't be able to purchase multiple days etc.
