To be completely transparent about how pricing works, HONK does not own, operate, or manage any of the physical parking lots on our platform.
Because we are strictly the digital payment software, we do not set the parking rates or decides when they change. Those decisions are made entirely by the independent parking operators, universities, or municipalities that own the properties.

The Convenience Fee: You might notice a small additional fee at checkout. This is a nominal processing fee collected by HONK to securely handle the digital transaction, keep our mobile apps running smoothly, and instantly sync your license plate with enforcement databases so you don't get a ticket.
