We understand how frustrating it is to receive a ticket when you’ve already paid through HONK. Since parking enforcement is managed independently, HONK cannot cancel or void tickets directly.
If you have a valid HONK receipt and were still ticketed, please reach out to York University to resolve the discrepancy. Have your license plate number and HONK confirmation ready.

In some instances a City of Toronto compliance officer issues the ticket and York University may direct you to file a formal appeal through the City’s portal.
Note: Most municipal citations must be disputed within 15 days of the issue date. Be sure to keep a digital copy of your HONK transaction as your primary evidence.
