Ready to hit the slopes? Booking your parking at A-Basin Resort in advance is the best way to ensure a smooth arrival. Since these spots fill up quickly, we recommend making your reservation as early as possible.
Step 1: Visit the Official Parking Site
Start by navigating to the Park A-Basin portal: 👉 https://reservenski.parkabasin.com/
Step 2: Choose Your Date
Use the calendar function to select your desired date.
Legend Check: Pay attention to the color-coded legend below the calendar—it will indicate which dates are available, sold out, or not required.
Step 3: Checkout with HONK
Once you select your reservation type, you will be redirected to the HONK checkout page.
Pro Tip: If you already have a HONK account, make sure to select the "Login" tab. The system often defaults to "Create Account," so logging in first will save you time!
Payment Info: You may be asked to re-enter your credit card information even if it’s saved on your main HONK profile. Each ski resort location operates on a separate secure payment system, this extra step ensures your transaction is processed correctly for that specific lot.
Step 4: Confirmation
You’ll know your booking is successful when you reach the "Success" screen. You will also receive a confirmation email from HONK—keep this handy as it contains your reservation details!
Important Booking Rules
Reservations Required: The reservation system for the 2026-27 season will be effective on weekends from Jan 2, 2027, to May 2, 2027
Parking reservations will be required in all lots from 6:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. on weekends. After 1:00 P.M. on these dates, parking is free and does not require a reservation.
Reservation Limits: Each account can book and hold up to four (4) active reservations at a time.
License Plates: Make sure the plate on your reservation matches the vehicle you drive to the mountain. You can update your plate in the HONK app any time before your reservation begins.
Free Reservations Release: Additional parking released each Monday beginning December 29, more reservations released for the upcoming weekend at 2:00 P.M. MST.
Demand is extremely high during peak weekends and holidays. If the date you want is greyed out, it means the lot is currently at capacity. Keep checking back, as spots may open up if other guests cancel!

You can then choose the appropriate location as there is more than one parking option at the ski hill
Then you use the calendar function to choose the date desired. There is a legend below to advise you on what the coloured dates mean.
Once you choose a date, you can choose from the options available to book your reservation. At this point you can also choose the option to redeem a code if you were provided one by the ski hill. (Parking promo codes are issued by the ski locations directly, not HONK).
Once you have chosen the reservation option, you will be redirected to HONK to checkout. If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to do so (please ensure you choose the login page if you already have an account as the system defaults to creating an account vs. the login page.)
Choose your payment method, you may need to add the same card twice as each ski location is 'separate' and even though you can purchase and manage your purchases in one place, the payment systems are separate.
You will know you are successful when you land on the success screen similar to the one below but it will correspond to the location you reserved at.

The reservation system is powered by HONK, but the ski locations still operate the parking onsite. Any questions about occupancy, rates or any operational questions for the day of (which lot is closest to certain runs or accessible parking spaces etc.) should be directed directly to ski parking.
